Our story is a family one
Over 50 years ago Patricia & Richard Jowett opened The Black Bull Inn with the idea of creating a relaxed pub with good beer and great food. Today, The Black Bull Inn is owned and run by their son, Michael Jowett with a helping hand from his family. The pub remains unspoiled by progress - sticking to its olde worlde roots.
Food of perfection takes time
Good food takes time...... perhaps it's the many years we've taken sourcing the finest and most delicious ingredients from across the country and from local producers; it could be the hours upon hours of preparation undertaken in the kitchen before service to ensure your meal is the best it can be.
We don't serve fast food. We serve fantastic food as fast as we can.
